Mother's Day Weekend

For Mother's Day Weekend we decided to go into New Orleans to celebrate with Tim's mom.  The weather was terrible Friday night so we decided to stay and drive in early Saturday morning. We left early Saturday morning and was in Metairie by 10am.  After getting into town we packed up and all went to the aquarium as a big family.  The girls loved seeing all the fish.  Of course we had to feed the birds again.  We walked around downtown for some time afterwards. Always love getting to go downtown.  That night we eat at Deanie's as family. I can't remember the last time we all sat down at a restaurant together. If my memory serves me right it would be before Amelia was born for New Years so that would be January 2009.  Way too long.  It was a rough day for me but I put a smile on my face and we drudged through it.  We are so blessed to have two wonderful moms that have helped us so much in the last year more than we have cared to ask, but they always do it with a big smile on their face.
