Well Day 3 started off again around 4:45 when someone's phone started going off again. My lovely sister set my mom's cell phone and thought she set a one day alarm but nope she set a permant alarm. HOwever it was comedical. My aunt sat up in her bed and goes "Can I ask question?" "When did we decide to get up this early?" With a quick lay down and go back to sleep we were able to sleep till about 7am. We were getting up to go tour up town and Brooklyn. We took a bus tour (we paid for 48 hour bus pass to hop on and off the bus with a tour)...a good deal instead of TAXIs..... Well we had a slow start getting up and it was a great thing because we walked to the HElls Kitchen area of town to catch our bus and we passed a crime scene. A man, well actor had "jumped" out of the window according to NYC police earlier that morning. The man was still laying on the ground covered up. Our bus stop was right by the crime scene. AFter our tour we ened up heading to the NYC museum. We had free passes so we figured why not. THis museum had a video about the history of NYC. Really insteresting video explaing the 5 burrows of NYC and how the grid came to be. After that we headed out and watched a baseball game in CEntral Park. Beautiful park....only 1 true river the rest are man made. After sitting a while we headed over to the MET. Outside the MET you have your inspiring ARtist. My mom paid a guy to draw and me and Lisa. Pretty decent and than Aunt FAye and KK had there faces drawn. WE all ended up buying some piece of art work out front. REally cheap and not bad. I bought Tim a picture of cat looking in a mirro and sees a lion. We love that painting because it looks like Chester adn we imagine that he sees himself as a Lion. FInally made it into the MET. We walked aroudn for a while it was just not really not our thing. We walked around and enjoyed it while there. I guess I love music more than art. Not sure!! After that we took a cab on over to FAO Schwartz because we had walked over a mile to get to the MET from CEntral Park and we were pretty tired. We all got some yummy candy and walked aroudn the toy story. Lisa and I played on the piano from BIG!! We had both seen Big in Chicgo and really enjoyed the movie. Lots of fun! Finally headed back to the hotel to meet up for the night tour of NYC!! More to come later...
