WINE DAY!!

Well Saturday (Jan 28th) ...........we decided we were not doing anything to our house the entire day...whoo!!! The past week was insane trying to get our house ready for a couple to come view it.... you know not sure how it went .......anyhow Tim got up and start studying and I got up after laying in bed for two hours trying to think of every reason not to get up and go!! ANyhow we got up and I went watch one of my students play basketball!! It was so worth seeing her face when she realized that I was really there!! Quick 20 minute game (took longer to get there)!! We decided we were going to have a picnic somewhere and go check out a winery. We were undecided if we wanted to drive or do something nearby....at the last second we decided to check out MCRITCHEY Winery about a hour away........everyone kept telling us go see this winery so our standards were pretty high...it was in a mountain and smaller than we expected....if you love whites than this is your place but since we are a red loving family we were a little disappointed other than the awesome glasses we got to keep. On the way home we stopped at Grassy Creek Winery and were glad we did. It was an old Dairy Farm and some of their wines are even bottled in old milk jugs!!! They had some decent reds and we hung out by the fireplace and talked with a few people!!! IT was a nice break of our house............more to come on that!!
