Football Weekend

 

Moving closer to home as lots of perks!! One being is that we can make LSU & Saints game live now!!! Well we decided to head home for LSU Homecoming Game against MS State! We were going to get tickets but at the last minute decided to just walk around campus and head to NO to be able to get up early before the Saints game!! WOW! LSU campus is totally different from when we both attended it was amazing all of the progress.  We just couldn't believe the new buildings and renovations of the union. After walking around we headed to Metairie and had dinner at Acme Oyster house!! Then watched LSU beat State (always a great feeling but even better teaching so many fans)!!! We headed to the dome early and had a nice brunch at the Hyatt hotel (same one Raquel and Joel had their reception) Definitely ate my share of food! We headed over to Champion Square and people watched for about a hour before heading into the dome.  When we got into the dome Tim was like let's walk around before heading up to our seats! I was able to finally tell him we were on the first level!! He was sooo excited!! The seats were amazing you could see everything! The pictures don't do them justice! It was such a fun weekend.
